Does Rust Server Analytics use cookies or analytics trackers?

The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a security cookie when it checks for bots. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours.

What visitor data does Rust Server Analytics keep?

The web server keeps ordinary access logs covering IP address, pages opened and browser type. These are kept for a short period to run the site and see which pages are used. No account data exists, because there are no accounts.

Does the site store data about individual Rust players?

No. Server records cover names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images published by the servers themselves or returned to direct queries. Player counts are totals, not lists of who is online.

Rust Server Analytics has no accounts, sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

Data we hold

Visitors are not asked to register or sign in. The web server records standard access logs: IP address, requested pages and browser type. Logs are retained briefly to keep the site operating and to measure which pages are used. A theme preference, where offered, is stored in your browser's local storage and stays on your device.

Cloudflare

Requests to rustserveranalytics.org are delivered and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses and may set its own security cookie when it checks for automated traffic. That cookie belongs to Cloudflare, not to Rust Server Analytics.

Fonts and assets

Fonts are served from this site. One exception: country flags on the force wipe date page are fetched from jsDelivr, a public code and font host, which receives your IP address and browser details when that file loads. No Google services are used.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no first-party cookies. No analytics script and no advertising tracker is installed. No visitor profile is built, and no visitor data is sold or shared, because none is held for that purpose.

Server data

Server information comes from public server lists and direct queries to those servers: names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images. It concerns servers, not individual players. Player counts are totals and never identify who is online.
